And our Halloween Fancy dress winners are..........!

Thank you so much to all the Mamas who threw themselves into the 2020 Pre lockdown, socially distanced and covid secure Halloween Themed classes (that's a sentence I never thought I'd write!) last week, with gorgeous costumes. It's hard to pick winners when everyone deserves a medal just for getting to a class - let alone in fancy dress! However, I'll hope you agree that these 5 were worthy winners.....

This comic foursome swept to first place as they teamed up to arrive together (socially distanced!!) as Despicable Me characters. We don't see much of baby Gru in the films but I'm sure you'll agree that Ethan is a lot cuter! And Mother Gru (Sam) looks a lot friendlier too.

Top marks also to their minions. Mummy minion (Aimee) and Baby Minion (Theo). Do Minions have babies? Mmmmmm.....I've never thought about where minions come from! And even a specially crocheted banana to complete the look. Big round of applause for you all for your hard work and making us smile so much.

And the cuteness was everywhere....our Runners up in no particular order......

Appoline the Octopus

Mum didn't have a costume to hand so made this ingenious outfit with what she had to hand at home. Mum even had to cope with a last minute costume alterations following an unexpected nappy situation (eek!), but we would never have known, it still looked.....AWESOME!

Mummy Witch (Rozi) with her Cat (Zoe)

I just love this shot of Mummy Witch casually doing a back stretch while her cat chills out beside her! Top marks for co-ordination of costumes, even down to the black lippie for Mummy Witch.

Amelie the prettiest little witch

She looked so cute and we were all amazed at how long she wore the hat without complaint! Definitely a winner too.
