Summer Holiday Classes at BellyTots Pregnancy and Postnatal.......

I'm really enjoying the warm weather - a much nicer office to use than my small coffee table at the sofa inside! My baby joined me today while I wrote this; she was working on her Level 3 Creative Writing. We're waiting on some more GCSE results so she can hopefully study A Level History, Psychology and Politics at Uxbridge College in September.

My younger daughter's GCSE Art project (pictured right) that I made my modelling debut in....and nearly drowned (details are at the end of this blog post if you missed that last time!) has been given a provisional mark of 90%! Still to be verified by the exam board...but we're keeping everything crossed. So hopefully she'll be off to Amersham College to study Creative Media and Acting, come September. Big changes for me with just my 11y, nearly 12 year old, son to focus on educationally next term!

And big changes for all of you too. Some Mamas starting back to work this week after a year off, and more of you starting back soon - good luck......you can do it! It can be a bit of a wrench to leave the little ones behind, but it can also be a refreshing change.

I can remember really enjoying sitting down to a hot cup of tea and drinking it all in one go - luxury! But I also felt a bit like I'd left my arms behind......a strange feeling indeed. There's a few hints and tips from NCT for returning to work here. I'm also so happy to have BellyTots Family once a month on a Saturday so we can stay in touch. Simple drop-in sessions, ideal for slightly older babies and toddlers.......£6.50 per family with toys, craft, songs and unlimited tea, biscuits and chat. No membership needed.

Others of you are due to give birth in the next few months, and I think we'd all agree that that's the biggest change of all. We're thinking of you and cheering you on; and can't wait to meet the new arrivals. Lots of spaces for pregnant mamas to join us in the Pregnancy Class. Please spread the word. Spaces available on Birth Partner Classes each month too.

Daddy & Me sessions are going well. Our new Pregnancy Massage Therapist Alison stepped in for Jeanette this time round, and her healing touch was much enjoyed.

It was a lovely atmosphere and I think new friendships were formed. Next session is August 31st and there are 4 spaces left. This is a lovely gift for a new Mum & Dad

- gift vouchers available, just contact me.

BellyTots Mum & Baby class is running through the summer. Mums (or Dads!) can pay for 4 classes with 6 weeks to use them up (£32) if they'd like to join us just while their regular class is not available. Again, please spread the word.

I'm off to deepest Leicestershire this weekend to meet my newly adopted 7 month old second cousin. Can't wait to meet her and share a Baby Massage workshop with her and her new Mummy and Daddy. Also excited to have a group of 9 beautiful new mamas coming to do Baby Massage with me this month - including a set of twins! I am armed and ready with massage oil and lots of tea and cake!

And if any of you would like to meet for a cuppa and a catch up - just let me know. I love to hear from you.

Enjoy the Summer!

Liz
